We are seeking an experienced Crew Foreman / Lead Carpenter to oversee and direct construction crews on job sites. This role is responsible for leading the team, setting expectations, and ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standard of craftsmanship. The Foreman provides hands-on leadership while holding the crew accountable for quality, efficiency, and professionalism throughout every phase of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Project Manager / Company Leadership

  • Lead and manage carpentry crews on job sites

  • Ensure all work is completed to company standards of quality, accuracy, and durability

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily project activities and crew workflow

  • Perform hands-on carpentry work while directing and supporting the team

  • Maintain accountability for job progress, tools, equipment, and materials

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure crew compliance with PPE requirements

  • Communicate clearly with company leadership, clients, and team members

  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times

Requirements

  • 5+ years of carpentry or general construction experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

  • Proficiency in framing, decking, remodeling, and finish carpentry

  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and hold a crew accountable

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites

  • Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions year-round

  • Dependable, safety-focused, and committed to craftsmanship
